A Healthy Body Needs a Healthy Habitat

Buying organic foods are best because farmers do not use pesticides or chemical weed killers to reduce pollution. They simply use fertilizer to minimize weeds, and practice water conservation.

Ways to make a difference

  • Read food labels. Although there is a more organic awareness, doesn’t mean that the product isn’t still high in cholesterol or sugar. Read the food label carefully.
  • Use only the products with the USDA Organic Stamp- to ensure it is a true organic product.
  • Wash your Fruit and Vegetables using a soft bristle brush- or simply remove the skin from your fruit or vegetable. Doing this will take away the pesticide chemical before you eat it, and will make the fruit dirt-free and bacteria free.
